A MONTH IN   Moz

My wife and I have visited Mozambique twice since October 2017, and for our second trip in March, had opted to stay in the heart of paradise at Bemugi’s Place just outside Santa Maria. We camped here for a month, and had a great adventure. We explored the area every day, found hidden gems, and couldn’t get enough of the surreal tropical landscapes and the truly original Mozambican cuisine. Everyone at Bemugi’s place was incredibly friendly; we soon felt like locals.

Our second journey east from our home in Klerksdorp, travelling with our Ford Ranger Wildtrak and towing a Mobi Lodge caravan, officially started from Kosi Bay Lodge on 1 March 2018.

The overall conditions were great, the sun was shining and birds were singing. We were packed bright and early and ready to rock and roll.

Getting through the Kosi Bay border post was managed with relative ease,
