REVERSE CAMERA VIDEO FEED FIXED

I have installed a camera on the back of my caravan, but from the start the image on the monitor has not been very clear.

I have noticed that when I am driving in the shade, the image is brighter, so my logical conclusion is that the sun is reflecting on the lens of the camera and causing the dim video.

So what I did was to take a 50 mm PVC pipe of about 30 mm long, cut it in half, painted it black en glued it to the top of the camera lens. The image on the monitor increased almost 80%.
