love the expression ‘across the ditch’ when it comes to talking about the stretch of ocean that separates Australia and New Zealand. I’m not sure when I first heard it, and it could be my imagination, but it seems and . It amazes me that while not that far apart geographically, the two countries are very different in so many ways. I’m constantly amazed by the beauty of both, but also the diversity of the landscapes and terrain.
