STEPPING OUT WITH MY BABY

MATERIALS

• Fat quarter of white tone-on-tone fabric (front panel)

• 40cm ( 1/2yd) pink stripe fabric (cushion back)

• Large scraps of assorted print fabrics – Yvonne used Tilda fabrics (Borders 1 and 3 and appliqué)

• 10cm (4in) length of narrow cotton lace (pram hood trim)

• Fusible web

• Stranded embroidery cotton in dark and medium brown

• Lightweight batting such as Pellon

• Fusible tear-away stabiliser

• 40cm (16in/size 16) square cushion insert

• Bobbin thread such as Bobbinfil (optional)

• Appliqué mat or baking paper

• Spray starch (optional) – see Yvonne’s Appliqué Tip

• Rotary cutter, ruler and mat

• Sewing machine

• General sewing supplies

Finished size: 40cm (15 3/4in) square
