Where do you live and work? I live in the very definition of a 1980’s Canberra home – brown, brown, brown with timber trim. What it lacks in visual appeal it makes up for in space and location, as I’m one of those rare beasts who actually loves living in Canberra. My studio is in what used to be our formal dining room. It’s brilliant because it’s right in the centre of our home life but because we added big glass doors to it, I can close the doors when I need to focus.

I’m married to a very understanding and patient man, and we have one adorable son. We’ve just added two rescue kittens, Sonic and Link,
