    MATERIALS

    • 1.55m (1 3/4yd) light pink tone-on-tone print fabric (background)

    • Scraps of assorted bright print fabrics (Churn Dash and binding)

    • 1.9m (2 1/8yd) backing fabric

    • Batting at least 135cm (53in) square

    • Perle No 8 cotton in a variety of colours (hand quilting)

    • Embroidery needle with a large eye

    • Rotary cutter, ruler and mat

    • Sewing machine with 1/4in foot

    • General sewing supplies

    Finished size: 118cm (46 1/2in) square

    Note: Read all the instructions before commencing. It is recommended that fabrics be 100% cotton, pre-washed and ironed. Requirements are based on fabric 107cm (42in) wide. Seam allowances of 1/4in are used throughout.

    CUTTING

    1 From the light pink tone-on-tone print fabric, cut:

    • One strip, 2 1/2in
