LEONARD FRENCH

During the 1950s, 60s and 70s, Len French was one of Australia’s seminal artists. After his passing earlier this year, we present the words of Jan Senbergs, who learnt much from this influential artist. Jan’s eulogy for Len French was delivered at the NGV in Melbourne on January 31.
