I struggle to write about my childhood memories, and it is not because I was sexually abused at four by a family member, and was subsequently victimised over 25 times till the age of 19. It is because I feel guilty about overshadowing an otherwise privileged and pampered existence with these multiple painful internal wounds that will never completely heal.
