No Rest for the Restorers

I really enjoyed the effort displayed in the August issue with. As a longtime boat restorer, it was very interesting to read what I had been telling people for the last 35 years. I recently closed my company and am trying to be retired. Not easy to do when you have customers that are 84 years old and their boat is 88 years old. When my older customers call, I remind them that I have retired. They respond by saying that is for those other people. This has been a wonderful way to make a living. Nothing better than working with people that have the desire, and the eye to see what the old girl could be with a lot of TLC. As you know, the before and after is extremely gratifying.
