Responding to changing market conditions is crucial, says this bird photo veteran

DAVID TIPLING

David has been interested in birds and wildlife since he was eight. He is now one of the most widely published wildlife photographers in the world.

HE has worked with numerous well-known book publishers, including Harper Collins, New Holland Publishers, Random House, Duncan Baird, Penguin, Dorling Kindersley and Mitchell Beazley to name just a few. He has also collaborated with some of the UK’s leading nature writers, including Jonathan Elphick and Mark Cocker.

TV appearances have included the BBC’s Springwatch and The One Show and he has made Living Coast, a Heritage Lottery funded film for the Norfolk Wildlife Trust. Tipling is a regular judge for photography competitions, notably British Birds Bird Photographer of the Year and Bird Photographer of the Year.

DAVID His pictures have been used on hundreds of book and magazine covers as well as on wine labels, and even projected in New York’s Time Square. His awards include the European Nature Photographer of the Year Documentary Award and multiple gongs in the BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year.
