When you were younger, what part did photography play in your life?
I was surrounded by nature of a sort when I was growing up in a small town in The Netherlands. It wasn’t nature on a grandiose scale like you ?nd in the United States or elsewhere, of course, but I’ve always been drawn to the natural world.
