EU-China Energy Cooperation Platform was launched on 15 May 2019, to support the implementation of activities announced in the 'Joint Statement on the Implementation of EU-China Energy Cooperation'. The overall objective of ECECP is to 'enhance EU-China cooperation on energy. In line with the EU's Energy Union, the Clean Energy for All European initiative, the Paris Agreement on Climate Change and the EU's Global Strategy, this enhanced cooperation will help increase mutual trust and understanding between EU and China and contribute to a global transition towards clean energy on the basis of a common vision of a sustainable, reliable and secure energy system.' By the year 2025 life had changed on planet earth as had the weather. The weather had bedcome increasingly un predictable and extreme as had the difference between right and wrong. Those at the Refuge represented the good and were going were going from strength to strength.  Unfortunately for those at the Refuge the same was true for those looking for a free ride or even a free everything!

While those establishing themselves upon the collection of farms in southern Spain for many things were going from bad to worse. Peter and Sally the first Northern Europeans to settle in the Valley would soon realise that their house  had been aptly named, 'The Refuge. Not only was the weather becoming ever more extreme people were becoming increasingly desperate. Across the planet Hurricanes, eathquakes, Tornados and more were becoming common place and in Spain pregessively rising temperatures were adding to the potpourie. While those that had settled within the enclosed valley had been readying themselves for an age many more  hadn't. In many aeas no hopers were attracted to the gangs that were forming all over, basic instints the driving force, safety in numbers. While those at the Refuge were going from stregnth to strength things beyond their borders were fast deteriorating. The greatest threat was the gangs of those less prepared that were forming. Whilst many were quite distant and posed no threat a gang coming together in Arola did, even worse it was well led, though not by its current leader that went by the name of El Rey, the King. Whilst the situation across the planet was going from bad to worse those at the Refuge were going from stregnth to strength......so far. Unknown to them the valley in which they lived was widely known for its fertile soil and abundance of water.
