About this ebook
Durio Demarco
Durio has always had a love for dogs. Before he owned his very first American Pit Bull Terrier, Asia, he owned several so-called cross breeds that his parents would adopt for him at the local dog shelter. He was always willing to take in a stray dog and would often bring home strays that he found on the street. His parents would get tired of him sneaking dogs in their basement, but they put up with it because they knew he had a love for dogs, and it made him happy to give a stray dog a home. He acquired his first American Pit Bull Terrier at the age of seventeen and fell in love with the breed. He learned all he could about the breed and had some great mentors that shared their knowledge with him. He started breeding them in his twenties and did so for many years. The lean and muscular look that these dogs displayed was eye-catching to him. He would breed them for many years until he met a guy named Nick who had an American Pit Bull Terrier that looked quite different. Nick's dogs were a lot thicker than Durio had been used to. They had muscle mass and very thick legs. He never knew the breed could look like that and once again he was hooked. He bred this new style of American Pit Bull Terrier for several years, as his knowledge grew he met more people who liked this thicker style of dog. Fast forward to the early 1990s with his discovery of the American Bully by way of the internet. He witnessed firsthand the introduction of this new breed and was involved with breeding them; he belonged to a group that put on American Bully dog shows as well. His website was doing quite well. He shipped dogs all over the country and produced top quality American Bullies for many years. Despite this, he wanted to push the envelope further. He was always a fan of English Bulldogs because of the way they looked: short and stocky was the way he described them. He began crossbreeding English Bulldogs with American Bullies and loved the results he was getting. This practice brought him praise and ridicule from other breeders, but he did not let the naysayers stop him. A new breed appeared on the scene, and it was comprised of the exact same type of dogs that Durio was breeding. However, this breed went under a different name: Exotic American Bullies. Durio had the inside scoop on the first breeders that were promoting and pushing this new breed. He knew the stud dog they had used to bring this new breed into creation, although the breeders themselves did not disclose who this dog was. The same dog that these breeders used to start this new breed was the same dog that Durio had his eye on! Now it's 2025 and the breed, The Exotic American Bully, has gained worldwide popularity with fans and fanciers everywhere. So much has been said about the breed and a lot of mistruths have been accepted and not questioned, until now. He's made it one of his life's missions to shed some light on the breed and to introduce the breed to people who have not yet heard about them. He also seeks to educate breeders and potential owners about the breed so they can enjoy many years with their dog. Durio wants The Exotic American Bully to gain worldwide recognition and acceptance for the truly great breed that they are.

I ran across Durio many years ago. It was before Facebook and Instagram were in existence. I used to look at his website quite often and liked some of the American Bullies that he had on it. He had this female named Boss Lady that was nice looking. She was blue and had great muscle tone. He had a few other dogs on his website, but she stood out. I looked at his website, eagerly waiting for the day he would breed her because I wanted a pup from her.
I was into American Pit Bulls Terriers not too long before I found Durio’s website. I had some excellent game-bred dogs. I had this one male out of Watchdog bloodline that was all heart! That boy and I went everywhere together, and he was my road dog. I can still remember him to this day and will never forget him. I believe the time was early 2000, around 2003, and I was in college. Then I discovered something different from the Pit Bulls I knew. One guy by the name of Keith Patterson advertised breeding Razors Edge Cario bred to a Razors Edge Short Shot daughter. The results were outstanding for that time, and I was hooked!
From that point on, I was looking at websites searching for my next dog. I was on a mission to find the perfect dog for me. I was constantly on the internet looking at dogs and the pedigrees of these dogs that were different and unique. The muscles on these dogs were more pronounced, and the heads were bigger. The people that were breeding these dogs were not calling them American Pit Bull Terriers but were calling them American Bullies.
A few years went by, and this time, I found Durio’s website: Durio’s Bulked Up Bullies. As I said, he had some excellent dogs on his site, and they were all Razors Edge bloodline. I added his website to my favorites. I saved quite a few American Bully breeders web sites, and his was one of them. I would check it out occasionally to see what breeding he was doing. I mentioned Boss Lady as one of his nicer dogs and wanted to see whom he would breed her to because I wanted a pup from her.
One day, while doing my usual surfing of the web, I stopped by his website, and I could not believe what I saw: he was breeding Boss Lady! Now here’s the kicker, he was finally breeding Boss Lady, but the dog he advertised that he was breeding her with was an English Bulldog! Was this a mistake? Did he mean to put this breeding on his website? I wondered what was going on and wanted to give him a call. His phone number was on his website. I decided not to call him but would check his website daily to see what he was doing.
One day he announced that the pups were born and that he was taking deposits on a few of them. I still could not believe that he was doing this. The times were starting to change, and I had a feeling that some breeders were adding something to the American Bullies that they were producing because they kept looking more like Bulldogs. I had a feeling that the type of breeding that Durio openly advertised was being done secretly by others. I decided to call him up to pick his brain and find out just what he was up to.
Durio answered the phone in an upbeat manner. I introduced myself and asked him about the Boss Lady breeding. The pups are three weeks old, and he told me all about his vision and shared quite a few things with me. He told me that the pups had all been spoken for, and he was keeping a female and a male. I thought that was quick and wondered who bought the pups.
Durio would not share the names of the people who purchased the pups but told me some were going to American Bully breeders. We developed quite a friendship, and I quickly learned that he knew quite a bit about breeding dogs and dogs in general. He is a genuine, friendly guy and always took time to talk with me about dogs. I watched his program grow and grow, but because he openly admitted to the mixing of breeds, he took a backseat to other breeders who would not disclose what they were doing.
He called me up one day and told me that he could get his dogs registered as Olde English Bulldogges, which he did not like because his dogs were not OEB, however it was all he could get, and it was a start. I watched him add Bulldog after Bulldog to his breeding program and witnessed firsthand following his social media growth. He produced some top-notch dogs! One male that he had was named Butch, and he was a Facebook star!
By this time, the American Exotic Bully was popular, and Durio told me that there were secrets about the breed that were not being told. He said he had proof but would not go into it. Over the years, I had gotten very involved with the breed and even threw one of the nicest exotic dogs shows in the country: War of the Exotics is what my shows are called, and I have a large following!
I have produced some top-quality Exotic Bullies over the years, and I am proud of all I have accomplished with the breed. Occasionally, I would call Durio to pick his brain and get some knowledge. I learned from him. He, along with Jamie Sweet (creator of the Shorty Bull), Chris Moore of Bulky Built Kennels, and Mike of Devils Den Pits, all played a role in my gaining the knowledge I needed to become a successful breeder. Each one of them taught me things about breeding dogs, and for that, I’m forever grateful.
Durio, I wish you much success with the book; a book such as this has been needed for quite some time. For you to share your knowledge and to take the time to research the material required for this book says a lot about your love for the breed. I know that the readers of this book will thoroughly enjoy it and gain knowledge that will help them tremendously!

Introduction
What you now hold in your hands is the first ever book written about the Exotic American Bully, the Bible of the Exotic American Bully. In this book, you will learn everything you need to know about this magnificent new breed that is taking the world by storm and creating new multimillionaires faster than ever before! Never in history has a relatively new breed gained so much popularity so quickly. It is mind-blowing. People from China, India, Japan, Australia, and Europe to name a few, have all become fans and are hosting their own dog shows. Some countries have spent millions of dollars with breeders from the United States, acquiring some of our best dogs.
The Exotic American Bully is truly a unique breed that is earning its place in history. Breeders have purchased million-dollar homes, the very best luxury vehicles, started their own businesses, and cared for loved ones, all with the money earned off this breed. It does not come easy, and it takes a lot of hard work. You have got to have marketing skills and a plan if you are to become the next millionaire.
Some breeders rise to the top and hold that spot for as long as they want to. They seem to have it all figured out. While others struggle with the breed and never really get to enjoy the lifestyle, some breeders live in the lap of luxury. What is it that these breeders know that others do not? What is it that they do, and how do they do it? Is it some secret they know that causes them to reach the top? Well, if you ever wondered, you hold the right book that will answer all these questions and more.
It does not matter if you’re new to the Exotic American Bully, or maybe you’re an experienced breeder and your program never really brought you all the accolades and spoils that you hoped it would. Perhaps you know nothing about this breed and have never heard of it. Whatever the case may be, know that with the purchase of this book, and by reading it carefully, you will gain knowledge that can propel you to the top.
My name is Durio, and I have been following the breed for many, many years. I reveal many closely guarded secrets in this book: the true origin of the Exotic American Bully, and many other topics are discussed as well. I have been breeding dogs for over twenty-five years and have been involved with the breed since its creation.
Currently, the breed has well over one million followers on Facebook and Instagram. That’s a lot of people who know about the breed. Still, there are many people who do not. For those who have never heard about the breed, this book will catch you up and introduce you to a whole new world that you never knew existed. One look will tell you that this dog is different. People often ask, What kind of dog is that?
is when they first see it. They wonder if it is some type of Bulldog or an American Bully mix breed? What is it?
Although they don’t know exactly what breed of dog it is, there is one thing they do know when they’re looking at a top-quality Exotic American Bully. It has so much muscle mass that it almost looks unreal! They love how short and wide these dogs are. They look like a work of art, like something created in a laboratory! This breed’s looks can be described as unique, but how did it develop into the highly sought-after goldmine they are today? This book will answer that question for you.
There is controversy surrounding the Exotic American Bully and the breed’s origin. You will hear all kinds of stories depending on whom you ask. Most have been told mistruths. Folks seem to accept whatever they are told concerning this breed and don’t question it. Well, this book will explain a lot about the Exotic American Bully and how you could use this knowledge to produce a top-quality dog yourself. One that, if you chose, you could sell for quite a bit of money.
Like all breeds, the Exotic American Bully has certain health issues that you must be aware of to keep your dog in optimum health. What is the best diet for your dog to achieve excellent health and amazing looks? This is an area that many people are stumped by and spend lots of money trying different foods and
