About this ebook
Su Yao, who lives in Bangkok's Chinatown, lost both her parents when she was young. She lives with her grandmother and helps out in a Chinese medicine shop. Recently, strange things have happened in Chinatown: residents have disappeared for no reason, and strange noises can be heard at night. On her way home, she was attacked by a mysterious man in black robes, but fortunately she was rescued. The man in black said that she was related to an ancient book and wanted to kill her to stop her plan. Su Yao remembered that she had picked up an ancient book while collecting herbs, so she started to study it. During the research, she was suspected by the Chinatown Security Team of being related to the strange things and was taken to the police station for interrogation.

Chapter 1: Unknown Creatures
In this labyrinth made of mysterious black stones, the low growling sound was like a heavy hammer, constantly hitting the nerves of Lin Yu and the others. Each roar seemed to carry some sort of ancient and evil power, reverberating between the passages of the labyrinth, causing the air to tremble. The faint light flickering on the surface of the black stone also seemed to have become even more bizarre at this moment, as if it was pulsing with excitement for the upcoming danger.
This sound ...... feels like some kind of powerful unknown creature.
Lin Yu said in a low voice, his eyes fixed on the direction from which the sound came, the Spiritual Energy Sword in his hand unconsciously gripped tightly, its body trembling slightly, as if it was also sensing the upcoming danger.
Hmph, whatever it is, I, Qilin, will not be afraid!
Although the Qilin's mouth was strong, its body crouched down slightly, the hair on its entire body stood up, and green flames flickered erratically on its body surface, revealing its inner vigilance.
Shadow Wind frowned tightly, and the golden longsword in his hand flashed with a cold light. Everyone be careful, this labyrinth is already full of mysteries, the creature behind this sudden roar must not be simple.
Shadow Wind's gaze swept back and forth between the surrounding passages, trying to find a hint of clues from this intricate labyrinth layout and anticipate the source of danger in advance.
Su Yao clutched the ancient book tightly, her body trembling slightly. Could it be the guardian of this labyrinth? What should we do?
Her voice carried a hint of fear, but the moment she looked at her companions, a hint of determination surged in her eyes, knowing that everyone must be united at this moment.
As the roars got closer and closer, a huge black shadow slowly emerged from the depths of the labyrinth. The silhouette of the black shadow gradually became clearer, it was a huge monster, more than two people tall, its entire body covered with black scales, as if it was a layer of hard armor. Its eyes were like two burning red flames, emitting a bloodthirsty light, and its mouth was full of sharp fangs, each of which flashed with a cold light, as if it could easily tear apart any prey.
What kind of monster is this!
Kirin couldn't help but exclaim.
Don't panic, observe its movements first!
Lin Yu shouted, his gaze locked onto the monster, trying to find a weakness in its movements.
The monster seemed to have sensed their presence and let out an even louder roar before barreling towards them. Its speed was extremely fast, like an out-of-control chariot in the narrow passageway, and wherever it passed, black stones shattered.
Quick, spread out!
Lin Yu shouted, and the crowd quickly dodged in different directions.
The monster's attack fell short, and it flicked its tail angrily, smashing a huge gaping hole in one of the side walls.
This monster is too powerful, fighting head on is not the way to go.
Shadow Wind shouted as he dodged the monster's attacks while looking for a chance to counterattack.
The gryphon, on the other hand, kept provoking the monster, trying to attract its attention. Come on, ugly guy! Look here!
