What exactly is acupuncture and what is its purpose? It's an alternative medicine that is employed to treat and prevent illnesses and also to reduce discomfort and anesthesia for patients undergoing surgery. According to studies, this method was first developed within China which has been in use for more than five thousand years.
The first description of this is available within the text Nei Jing, which means the Yellow Emperor's Classic of Internal Medicine in English. The contents of the book are from around 200 BC. The ancient Egyptians didn't use needles made of iron in the past rather, they utilized stone needles, moxibustion and herbal remedies to treat their patients.
Acupuncture involves inserting very tiny needles
