About this ebook
Does the ground feel like it's spinning at 1,000mph and can you sense the Earth's 500,000mph rotation around the Milky Way Galaxy?
Why is it that the heat from the Sun, after travelling 93,000,000 miles through a cold cosmos, is so much hotter in Spain compared to just 1,000 miles away in the UK?
Why don't engineers account for the curvature of the Earth when designing railways, bridges and canals?
Why do all ships navigate by Plane Sailing and why do airplanes never fly over Antarctica?
Have you ever wondered why the same stars that appear in the night sky are in the same relative position as the day you were born? Why will this be unchanged the day you die?
Are you capable of overcoming your own cognitive dissonance to discover the truth about the world in which you live?
Are you open-minded enough to read: 'A BOOK THAT MAY CHANGE YOUR WORLD'?

A Book That May Change Your World - Deano
Introduction
Speculative men, by the force of genius, may invent systems that will perhaps be greatly admired for a time: these, however, are phantoms which the force of truth will sooner or later dispel.
Samuel B. Rowbotham
If you had asked me, less than a decade ago, whether we lived on a giant globe which made a complete turn on its axis each day, while making an annual circuit around a big bright star known as the Sun, I would have probably agreed. On the other hand, if you had tried to convince me the Earth was flat, stationary and that the Sun was just a few thousand miles away, circling daily overhead, I would have immediately cast you aside as some sort of lunatic or easily-duped individual.
This is a totally rational and intelligent response when based upon what we have been taught or exposed to since we were born. With rotating globe-earth models at school and in the home, BBC News logos incorporating a spinning world, ‘Star Trek’ movies showing the Enterprise venturing at warp-speed into infinite space and scientific lessons about gravity, it was only the ignorant people in the past that thought the world was flat, right? After all, how many people recall the childhood illustration of a ship falling off the vertical edge of a flat-Earth, followed by the ensuing waterfall, into the abyss? How ignorant people must have been in previous centuries.
The vast majority of people reading this will probably align themselves with a similar mind-set while growing up. Most people will continue this early learning right into adulthood and through their entire lives. This is how conditioning works; it relies heavily on instilling a belief system at a tender age, then exposing this adopted understanding to continuous reinforcement. This brain-washing is achieved by the widespread use of globe-earth images in the mainstream media, films, company logos, books and advertising. However, an increasing number of individuals have started to realise anomalies in other aspects of society which have stirred them to start doing their own research and to awaken their cognitive ability, or at least to start asking questions. If you are reading this book, I presume that you are one of these people willing to challenge a lifetime of conditioning at the hands of a tiny controlling elite. Alternatively, if you still think the notion of a flat, stationary Earth is complete nonsense, then at least I credit you for attempting to read something that will at this stage seem somewhat ridiculous or perhaps pointless. Having said that, if you keep an open mind, you may be intrigued by what this book has to offer. It is not some tin-foiled hat, conspiracy-laden compilation of rhetoric and assumption. Personally, it would take much more than that to convince me that we do not reside on a marble-like planet hurtling into an infinite universe.
One thing that must be said is that every person I know, many of much higher intelligence than myself, who has actually designated the time and effort to research the truth about the world in which we live, unanimously end up questioning the official narrative. If anyone manages to discern the truth from amidst the disinformation while withstanding the criticism, then the facts speak for themselves. This book is an attempt to start the reader on that journey of discernment, which often follows the path highlighted below by Arthur Schopenhauer:
All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed then, it is violently opposed. Finally, it is accepted as self-evident.
If you’ve got to the third page of just the introduction and think that it’s just another one of those stupid flat-Earthers trying to reel you in with the same old rhetoric, then you have two options. The first is to close this book and go back to your comfortable world that has always been there, hurtling at 500,000 mph through space and switch the television back on for some more conditioning via spoon-fed propaganda and mind-numbing distractions they call entertainment. Secondly, you could challenge yourself to see if you are open-minded enough to read about a subject that contradicts a lifetime of conditioned beliefs. By putting your individual intelligence to work rather than muffling it with the daily drug offered by the controlled mainstream media, towards the end of this book I think, if nothing else, you will start using your senses to become more aware of the surrounding environment in which you live.
At this point, for those that decide to read on, unfortunately this book does not offer the same theatrical, roller-coaster-ride velocities presented by the heliocentric model. That hypothesis includes the notion of a spinning-globe rotating at 1,000 mph, simultaneously circling the Sun at 67,000 mph, which in turn navigates around our galaxy at 500,000 mph. It then careers off into infinite space at some other ridiculous made-up speed with too many zeros to comprehend. Similarly, the true distances presented to our Sun, Moon and stars cannot compete with the exuberance of billions of light years away, or other incomprehensible distances offered by the notion of an ever-expanding universe.
If you think like me, you will not easily accept anything that is out of the ordinary unless it is backed up by clear verifiable fact and observation. This book will present these facts in a logical manner which will enable the reader to make up their own mind as to what is true and what is propaganda and lies. Nobody is forced to believe anything. However, if the truth is absent from the discussion, it is impossible for the most intelligent genius to ever find it.
One thing this book will require is that the reader reverts back to using and trusting their own senses and instinct. In an ever-increasing technological world we are constantly told that digital technology and unfathomable calculations usurp nature. An example is to trust your television screen more than your own eyes, or believe in a theoretical scientific formula with lots of calculations, compared to your own physical presence and sensations in the real world.
This book will clearly demonstrate how science and technology has purposely been used to distract a person from what their senses illustrate is right and obvious. To give one example, we are told that gravity holds us, the oceans, skyscrapers and all known objects pinned down to a rotating globe-earth. Ask yourself why such a potent force keeps an Aussie stuck to the ground while effectively upside-down, but cannot stop a mosquito from buzzing around his ear or the smoke from a barbecue calmly drifting towards the sky. We are told that great ocean depths are glued to a rapidly spinning globe by the same mystical force, and yet for rain to occur moisture manages to rise up against the same restraining power. How is it that a helium balloon can overcome the invisible force of gravity or an air bubble rise to the surface from under millions of tonnes of water?
In truth, we have all been baffled by science and incomprehensible equations. It may come as a slight relief to realise that most of these formulas have been purposely thought up by the likes of Newton and Einstein, purely to give credence to their theoretical system of a globe-earth. Even Copernicus, the father of heliocentrism is documented as saying:
It is not necessary that hypotheses should be true, or even probable; it is sufficient that they lead to results of calculation, which agree with calculation.
Personally, one of the key defining moments in discerning the true nature of where we live came from the motion of the stars. As a child it seemed that only the brightest astrologers like Patrick Moore and his one-eyed spectacle could have the geek’s brainpower to understand the universe. To think that people could actually name and understand the infinite space known as the cosmos, filled with what seems like an endless number of tiny dots of light, was beyond my comprehension. However, this whole astrological mind game can be simply summarised, visualised and understood by anyone willing to open their eyes, literally. Looking at the night sky, all the stars rotate in the same formation as they always have done, around what is known as Polaris, the North Star. Anyone can look up a slow-aperture view of the night sky and see the same circular rotation, night after night, year after year. It doesn’t change. The same stars were there when you were born and the same stars will be there when you die. It is a constant.
A simple way of picturing everything we can see in a clear night sky is like looking up from beneath a chandelier that rotates around a central point. As the chandelier turns on its twenty-four hour cycle, so do all the visible lights in the same relative position to each other. If you sit out and gaze at the stars at midnight, then do the same the next night, they will all be in exactly the same position; it is simple, continuous, understandable and majestic.
Now, put this chandelier of stars into the equation of a globe-earth circling the Sun at 67,000 mph. Then, add in to the equation the supposition that we are also spiralling in an opposing direction around the Milky Way galaxy at 500,000 mph. Furthermore, add the notion that our galaxy is also moving in a vortex motion into an ever-expanding universe at millions of miles per hour while trying to contemplate that all the visible stars are billions of light years away. It doesn’t add up. We’ve been lied to. Why?
In addition to explaining the verifiable facts about gravity, curvature, the impossibility of rotation and solar and lunar cycles, this book will also offer suggestions as to why we have been purposely conditioned to believe the lies. This extensive disinformation is clearly demonstrated by the multi-billion dollar operation known as NASA, the so-called Moon landings and future expensive budgets for the planned trips to Mars and elsewhere. If you are still holding out for a future escape to a distant planet, then I apologise right from the start. The request is for the reader to start thinking in Nicolas Tesla’s terms of Earth being a unique realm rather than a globe in an infinite sea of endless stars.
The verifiable proof that space is not what we have been taught to believe is just a mouse click away, that is, if you can avoid Google algorithms and censorship. The International Space Station (ISS), which is documented as being the same size as a Boeing 747, circles the Earth at an altitude of 250 miles. To view this object with the naked eye is either awe-inspiring or something that raises questions for an inquiring mind. Firstly, a 747 normally flies at an altitude of six miles, which is barely visible to the naked eye, so how can a similar sized object be seen at over forty times that height? Secondly, if it is circling Earth at a height of 250 miles, as Wikipedia states, then why does this correlate with it being within Earth’s atmosphere according to every known illustration, including from NASA itself? Once again, it’s all lies and disinformation. Every satellite, space-station, or planet is moving within the atmosphere overhead and not in space. This in itself should tease the reader to ask the question, why is it so important to spend billions and billions of dollars to deceive us about the world in which we live?
I fully understand the implications of challenging a line of questioning that most people would rather keep quiet about, so as to keep within the acceptable range of peer pressure or criticism. Unfortunately, these individuals are unlikely to help break the mass-formation psychosis experienced by the population at large, nor compile an alternative argument for the majority of people that live life in a made-up world. To counter this, and to satisfy a personal desire to fulfil a service to anyone willing to listen, this is my effort at awakening your intelligence, instinct and cognitive ability to question what you have been conditioned to believe since birth.
In addition to highlighting some of the historical experiments that prove that the Earth is not a globe, clear explanations will be presented, such as why a ship disappears over the horizon, and the real reason why the changing seasons occur on a terra firma. Similarly, the notion of solar and lunar circuits will be examined, as well as orbiting planets and twinkling stars. Backing up all these arguments will be quoted text from scientists and researchers dating back centuries, along with presentations of the experiments used. Additional practical demonstrations will be offered for the reader and others to try out themselves.
By the end of this book, if nothing else, the reader will have a very extensive overview of the world in which they live. From experience, some of the evidence presented may take a while to sink in, and may need to be combined with personal observations while out in the natural world. As truth builds on truth, after a certain period of time the overwhelming amount of evidence backing a flat, stationary Earth becomes too much for the most ardent critic to deny. As with other people that seek the truth among a world filled with propaganda and lies, the greatest challenge to finally realising what is real is the ability to overcome a lifetime of conditioning. This is expressed in the following quote from Carl Sagan:
One of the saddest lessons of history is this: if we’ve been bamboozled long enough, we tend to reject any evidence of the bamboozle. We’re no longer interested in finding out the truth. The bamboozle has captured us. It’s simply too painful to acknowledge, even to ourselves, that we’ve been taken. Once you give a charlatan power over you, you almost never get it back.
The desired intention in compiling this book is to offer the reader a very strong argument towards the true nature of the world in which we live. However, this writing is not intended to denigrate those that believe we reside on a globe or anyone else. It is an open, honest discussion about the place in which we live. It aims to present an alternative explanation to that which is offered by the tiny elite group that controls society at large. The final conclusion drawn is left to the reader and nobody else.
Thus far into this book, I fully acknowledge that it is me that may come across as the crazy one for challenging the whole notion of the world in which we live. However, by the end of the book it will be left to the reader to ask the question as to whether anyone believing in the globe-earth model has been misled into believing the propaganda. If you get to the end of the book, I forewarn you of just one thing: it is ‘A Book That May Change Your World’.
Enjoy the ride, albeit a stationary one!
Chapter One
Historical Beliefs
Both Copernicus himself, who revived the theory of the heathen philosopher Pythagoras, and his great exponent Sir Isaac Newton, confessed that their system of a revolving Earth was only a ‘possibility’, and could not be proved by facts. It is only their followers who have decorated it with the name of an ‘exact science’.
David Wardlaw Scott
It may come as a surprise to realise that the notion of the Earth being a spinning, globe-like planet is a relatively recently-held belief. Since time memorial, ancient cultures held a common understanding that Earth was the centre of everything, flat in shape, while being stationary and surrounded by a level ocean of water. Coinciding with this belief was the accompanying conclusion that it was the Sun, stars and planets that follow a regular pattern, circling the unique realm in which humanity has always lived.
It is no surprise that the controlled Wikipedia demeans any culture that believed in this flat, stationary Earth, stating that:
The flat Earth model is an archaic conception of Earth’s shape as a plane or disk. Many ancient cultures subscribed to a flat Earth cosmography, including Greece until the classical period, the Bronze Age and Iron Age civilizations of the Near East until the Hellenistic period, India until the Gupta period (early centuries AD), and China until the 17th century.
Early Egyptian and Mesopotamian beliefs strongly represented Earth as a flat disc overlying the oceans below. This image is often depicted in pyramid wall art, revealing illustrations of a star-covered dome covering the oceans, personified as the ancient Goddess Nu, who arches over the Earth supported by the atmosphere Shu. This is very similar to the understanding of the ancient Israelites, who believed in a stationary plane which spanned across the waters of the Great Deep, separated from the heavens above by an arched firmament. The Christian, Jewish and Islamic religions all share a similar view based on the book of Genesis which states that the waters are separated from the dry land and covered above by the firmament.
The Cherokee Indians of North America also saw the Earth as a flat disc of water, with the land mass forming a giant island within. Looking up to the sky they believed that the atmosphere was covered by an arc made of stone. What lay beyond this arc was known as the Upper World, where the protective spirits resided. In similarity to many cultures and religions, below the Earth was seen as the home of troublesome spirits that caused imbalance in the world itself. According to a book from 1649 titled ‘Iewes in America’, evidence is provided that the North American Indians are in fact descendants of the twelve tribes of Judaea. If correct, this would explain why these Israelites hold a similar belief system to the ancient Hebrews regarding the stationary world in which we live.
In ancient China, the prevailing belief was also that the Earth was flat, whereas the heavens curved above like an umbrella. This was known as the ‘Kai Tian Theory’. This long-held system remained throughout history right up until the Seventeenth Century. It comes as no surprise to discover that the Jesuit missionaries were the ones to introduce the theory of a spinning, globe-earth.
Europeans, including the ancient Norse and Germanic peoples, had similar understanding of a flat-Earth cosmography, created with an impassable sea surrounding the land. Meanwhile, in South Asia, one of the earliest Indian cosmological texts depicts the Earth as a single stack of flat discs. These Vedic texts describe the heavens Dyaus and Earth Prithvi as being like flat wheels on an axle. Wikipedia describes them as follows:
The medieval Indian texts called the Puranas describe the Earth as a flat-bottomed, circular disk with concentric oceans and continents. This general scheme is present not only in the Hindu cosmologies, but also in Buddhist and Jain cosmologies of South Asia. However, some Puranas include other models.
For millennia, dating back as far as cultural legends and inscribed artefacts reveal, all human civilisation held the similar belief in a flat, plane-like Earth, surrounded by waters below and covered by a domed sky above.
One of the most renowned, modern-day researchers of the flat-Earth is Eric Dubay. He briefly summarises how previous cultures visualised the plane on which they lived:
From the beginning of recorded history, and for thousands upon thousands of years, cultures across the entire world all believed the Earth was flat. Their various cosmologies and cosmogonies differed in slight ways but their overall geographies and astronomies were incredibly consistent and in fact virtually identical. The Earth was a stationary plane void of any motion or curvature, flat across its entire expanse except of course for hills, mountains and valleys.
It wasn’t until the 6th Century BC that Pythagoras of Samos, the Greek mathematician and philosopher is cited as being the first person to claim the world to be a rotating globe. He expressed the notion of Earth, turning daily around an imaginary vertical axis. Philolaus continued with this idea and developed
