About this ebook
Bookworm Jeanie loves escaping into books. Before meeting Willow, Jeanie only experienced fantastical things through stories. But now that Jeanie has a best friend who’s a genie, there’s a lot more magic in her life! Of course, magic and wishes don’t always go as planned. That’s how Jeanie ends up inside a book—being chased by dragons on a quest for a lost treasure. Will Jeanie be able to get out of the book by herself or can Willow work her magic from afar?
With easy-to-read language and illustrations on almost every page, the Jeanie & Genie chapter books are perfect for emerging readers.

STORY TIME
To rain or not to rain—that is the question.
Jeanie Bell looked up from the book she was reading. Her best friend, Willow Davis, was staring wistfully out Jeanie’s bedroom window as raindrops pelted the glass.
Hmm,
said Jeanie, peering at the dark gray clouds overhead. It doesn’t look like it’s going to stop anytime soon. No wonder the Rivertown Players had to postpone their performance this morning.
Jeanie and Willow had been excited to go to Stratford Park that morning, where they would watch the theater group’s latest play, A Knight to Remember. But the wet weather had spoiled their plans.

What are you reading, anyway?
