Acquaintance with insight produces knowledge. However, it is only the applicability of knowledge acquired that brings about profiting and empowers an organization or individual to succeed.
—Dada Oyekan, MBA
This book is a product of many minds and experiences. Its thought and the material have gradually evolved over time. It all began in year 2009 when I attended a business seminar with a guest speaker from Australia and at the same time I was studying for my MBA. Robbing minds with business gurus’ and intellectuals provoked the thought of writing this book; coupled with the encouragement of friends and mentors that believed in me and have heard me speak at various occasions. They believed that the knowledge should be shared to a wider audience across the globe and one of the ways of accomplishing this was by putting my thoughts and ideas into writing. My friends and admirers out of respect for my works bestowed the title Prof.
on me. So, if you hear people calling me Prof.
, please, be nobody’s fool, it’s just an honorary title conferred on me, courtesy of my fans and friends.
I am indeed grateful to friends, colleagues, mentors, clients, students and my family for their advice, encouragement, love and support. To Adetola, my wife and each of our three adorable children for their love, support and prayers; I say a big thank you.
