Beth Bacon writes funny books for intermediate reluctant readers. She earned an MFA in writing for children from Vermont College of Fine Arts. She also has a degree in communications from NYU and a degree in literature from Harvard. She previously worked with Apple on communications and marketing, as well as in elementary school education.

This book is so funny. At the start it kind of reminds me of the books in the movie the Pagemaster where they complain about no one reading them. And that is how this book starts out. But then the reader makes friends with the book and they have a grand ole time. This book would be so much fun at story time. Every library needs to add it to their collection.

The Book No One Wants To Read: A funny interactive activity book that gets reluctant readers reading by Beth Bacon Excellent read just like the last book I read by this author. So many things to do while reading this.Some pages will make you laugh out loud. I can't wait to read this one with my grandson, we WILL have tears in our eyes from laughing so much!
