    The Scariest Monsters

    I wouldn’t want to see a ghost,

    especially late at night.

    I’m sure I couldn’t handle it

    as I’d get such a fright.

    I think that vampires scare me too,

    ’cause they’re the living dead.

    To think about these scary beasts

    has made me wet the bed.

    Werewolves too, are frightening,

    beneath the moon they prowl.

    I know that I would jump in fear

    to hear a werewolf howl.

    All the monsters shown above

    are really scary creatures.

    But the scariest monsters of them all

    would have to be my teachers.

    The Clumsy Giant

    I’m just a gentle giant,

    but most would disagree.

    Because when I’ve been spotted

    they all decide to flee.

    They yell, ‘Here comes the giant!’

    and raise the town alarm.

    They just don’t seem to understand

    I don’t mean any harm.

    But people here are really small,

    I squash them without knowing.

    Mum says I should take more care

    and look out where I’m going.

    I told my Mum that I would try,

    but still she wore a frown.
