Nathan Mubenga Kalala is an Entrepreneur, Trainer, Digital Marketing Consultant and Author of eBooks . Succeed : what is it ?
In the eyes of many in society, success is only about having a happy outcome in an ordeal. Thus the notion of success lacks an ethical and moral dimension. With misunderstood expressions like : any road leads to Rome, the end justifies the means, all the means are good to reach the top etc. We have inspired a desire to succeed by any means, even the most inhumane means.
We therefore say : of a student who did nothing but cheat during his entire course, that he succeeded in his studies, of a terrorist who killed thousands of people in an explosion, that he succeeded, thieves who robbed a bank, that they succeeded, of a man who only embezzled state money for his personal interests, that he made a success of his life etc.
