It follows the journey of a translator of Thomas Bernhard who seeks to find out why his half-brother, a museum warder in Vienna, has committed suicide. Was it due to the conflicts within his family, the fact that he'd become a traumatised worker, a victim of neoliberalism, or on account of the corruption, incompetence and brutality of the system? In the course of the journey luminaries such as Peter Stein, Jutte Lampe, Peter Kubelka, Ulrich Seidl, Bill T. Jones, Franz West, Sarah Lucas, Tracey Emin, Tony Cragg and Sean Scully reveal the secrets of art.
