Crystal Empire Darkness Falls - Kerrice Accarias
Chapter One
One day Mr Bogs, one of the head Trolls, woke up early. He had a dream of wondering around Antos during the day. So he decided to venture out; something Trolls never did.
Time for me to see the world
said Mr Bogs. So, he told the others what he was going to do.
They were all surprised!
You can’t go out there, it might not be safe
said Mrs Bogs stunned.
You don’t know what is out there
said Mr Googe.
Don’t be silly, I’m sure there is nothing to worry about, I won’t be long.
As he retrieved his cane, the other Trolls had very worried looks on their faces. But, Mr Bogs ignored them all. And with a little strength and a bit of confidence, he smiled his crooked smile at them. He opened the door and left, leaving the other Trolls in shock.
Outside, Mr Bogs breathed in the nice fresh air, and started coughing.
Yuk
he said to himself. He was use to the stale air of his Tree home.
His eyes also had to adjust from the glare of the sun. Trolls didn’t like the daytime.
Hmm, maybe this was a bad idea
, he thought to himself.
But, he decided to keep walking.
Mr Bogs was rather nervous, but he tried not to show it.
Every time he took a few steps he would hide behind a tree or log.
Everything looked so different during the daytime. Trolls only came out at night, so this was very strange and difficult for poor Mr Bogs. But, with a little bit of confidence he slowly moved away from his home. One foot after the other
, he muttered to himself.
Chapter Two
Sarena, look Can you see that strange object down by the Tree over there?
Sarena turned to Perla, who had a strange look on her face.
She looked down to where Perla was pointing.
WOW! Have you seen a creature like that before.
she asked.
No
said Sarena.
It looks scared and weary. Maybe it needs our help?
said Perla, concerned.
Maybe
Sarena said.
So, they excused themselves from Birdie, with whom they were having a lovely conversation, and slowly flew down towards the Troll.
As they got closer their wings became nervous.
Oh no
They cried as they both fell to the ground.
I’m scared
Perla said, shaking the dirt off herself.
Do you think it was us
? Sarena said, a little shaken.
Perla glanced over at the Troll No! I don’t think so
Then why did our wings get scared
asked Sarena.
I don’t know, but we know that if there is danger, our wings won’t work. So, we have to be careful and stay out of sight. We can hide behind this tree and just watch
whispered Sarena.
Mr Bogs heard tiny screams and thought he saw something. His heart started to race, so he hid behind a tree. His eyes were still adjusting to the light, so he slowly looked out. He couldn’t see any thing. He straightened up as best as he could. Putting on a brave face and a crooked smile, he decided to keep walking to the next tree
Chapter Three
Sarena and Perla both watched this curious creature slinking from tree to tree.
To them he looked sick and they wanted so much to help him. But, their wings told them otherwise.
What confused the Fairies the most was that their wings usually tell them when something is sick. Then they fly towards the sickness, so they can help and heal. But, if there wings are saying there is danger around they must listen. Instead of listening to their wings, they decided to stay hidden and follow this strange creature anyway.
The air was so fresh and the sun was so warm, that poor Mr Bogs was getting rather tired. He decided to sit under a tree and rest. Unfortunately, he sat down on a sharp stone. He let out a squeal and jumped up, hitting his head on a branch. There was a loud crash, his eyes closed and he fell to the ground.
Suddenly, the Fairies wings started to work and they flew quickly over to the Troll. A huge branch had fallen on top of the Trolls head. The Fairies slowly approached the Troll and looked at him closely.
Oh Yuck, he smells awful
said Perla, holding her nose.
They knew they shouldn’t, but they both started to laugh. They were laughing so hard they lost their balance and fell on top of Mr Bogs.
YUCK!
they shrieked, struggling to get off him quickly.
Is it an Animal
? whispered Sarena.
I don’t know
? Perla said, still holding her nose.
Sarena had a worried look on her face as she turned to Perla and said I think he’s hurt
.
They examined
