At fifteen years old I joined the British army as a junior leader where I spent three years training to be an expert tank soldier. I served in Libya and the UN in Cyprus before returning to the UK and then BAOR. Later on I qualified as an army helicopter pilot with the rank of Sergeant. Serving in Germany and Northern Ireland. After my military service I became a professional ATPL helicopter pilot. I spent 10 years of flying all kinds of missions in many Middle East and African countries then settled down as a Welsh Police Helicopter Pilot (chief pilot) for 12 years. After retirement I am proud to hold dual British/Canadian citizenship and enjoy being a much travelled family man.view less
