He attended John Brown University in Siloam Springs, Arkansas for three years. He transferred to Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, where he completed his degree in religion. He served as a pastor from 1958 to 2009. Richard has traveled overseas, where an orphanage is now in progress, and hopes to be completed in early 2014.
He has been married for fifty-three years to Loyce. They have three children and seven grandchildren.view less
