She worked as a shorthand typist at fifteen, married at nineteen and has one surviving daughter. Her second husband of thirty-five years remains her greatest ally.
After many years of devoting her time caring for the elderly and counselling people from all walks of life she now devotes time to two hobbies, water-colour painting and writing. She is in contact with writers from a creative writing course, and from where the idea for “One Hidden Truth” was conceived and developed.
Pamela lives with the condition Fibromyalgia, so both the writing and art can be interrupted by episodes of poor health. Her family and friends are incredibly proud of her determination and her pen name is an acknowledgement of her husband’s love and support to his “Pamela Darling”.view less
