About this audiobook
Read the book that inspired the Nickelodeon TV show! Perfect for fans of Middle School and Awkward.
Super-stylish and uber-harsh, Kacey Simon is the social dictator of Marquette Middle School. But when an eye infection and a visit to the dentist leave her with giant glasses, a mouth full of metal, and...a littthp, Kacey is dismissed by her popular friends, falling so far down the social ladder she can barely see the top, even with her magnifying specs.
With nowhere else to turn, Kacey has to hang with her nerdy neighbor and a boy who walks to beat of his own drum, but she's determined to reclaim her throne. Will she climb back to the top? Or will she discover that hitting rock bottom kind of...rocks?

You would think that this book is like a typical diary book, but its not. There are a lot of things that girls can relate to and is a very funny book about the most popular girl in school who gets braces and glasses and gets completely dumped by her popular friends. I absolutely LOVE this book and cannot wait to read the second book in the series, How to Roch Breakups and Makeups. - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5

Kacey Simon is queen of Marquette Middle School and those who don't exactly worship her fear her razor tongue. She says exactly what she thinks, in the name of honesty, even if what comes out of her mouth destroys a person. When mismanaged contacts cause a serious eye infection that necessitates wearing glasses for two weeks, and a visit to her dentist reveals a need for braces which cause a significant lisp, Kacey suddenly plummets from the popularity pool. She is rescued by a childhood friend, becomes interested in a new boy, and suddenly becomes the lead singer in a band. This paves the way for her social comeback, which is what she really wants... or so she thinks.
Mean girls, a little romance, a little music... this book was lots of fun to read. I predict that my girly-girl readers are going to love it, and be clamouring for the sequel.
