Peter Oborne is an award-winning writer, journalist and broadcaster who has worked for various newspapers, including the Spectator, the Daily Mail and the Daily Telegraph, where he was the chief political commentator until his resignation from the paper in 2015. He now writes for Middle East Eye. He is the author of numerous books, including The Rise of Political Lying (2005), Wounded Tiger (2014) and the Sunday Times bestseller The Assault on Truth (2021). Islamic Supremacy is the elephant in the room, and this book is extremely limited in its examination of the 3 source-texts of Islam (the Koran, Sirah, and Hadith) which clearly point out the supremacist motives behind such groups as ISIS, Al Qaeda, Boko Haram, and HAMAS.
The terrorist leader of ISIS was a devoted scholar of the source-texts of Islam and earned a PhD in Islamic Studies from the Harvard of Islamic Law schools (in Cairo). When school officials were questioned about whether ISIS was a genuine expression of Islam or not, they said they could not find anything in the behavior or publications of ISIS that was contrary to Islam.
