Laura Tempest Zakroff (she/they) is a professional artist, author, performer, and Modern Traditional Witch based in New England. She holds a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design, and her artwork has received awards and honors worldwide. I struggled with this book. I don’t like it’s “holier than thou” attitude but switching to audiobook helped because I was able to work on other things while listening which prevented my mind from wandering away. The author writes as though she thinks witches are better than everyone else.
The second half of the book is better because it starts to give you tangible exercises that you can try.
