Good book. Useful tips for the American market. I live in Europe, but since I’m a dummy and new to stock, I like to learn as much as I can.

    TRADING PRINCIPLES

I read this book in the summer of 2015 (the book was published in 2013, not 2017 as stated in the Alibrate description), when I was starting to feel curious about the stock market and the markets, and I believe it was the first step of a long journey, both in learning and professionally. It was very educational and entertaining at the same time and helped me form a few financial foundations.

The "For Dummies" books seem to me to be a very good source of basic learning, which is why I have several copies from the collection. It is true that there are certain books that do not meet our expectations, but generally, you learn quite a bit, presenting a beginner-level topic in an enjoyable way, and this book fulfills that function.

Firstly, the author, Josef Ajram, is a well-known influencer, in my opinion, as he does not seem to be extraordinary as a businessman and as a trader. I think he is more of a great motivator, communicator, and a great salesperson. I have attended several of his talks and I believe he conveys his message clearly and concisely, but with a single purpose: to sell, and the truth is, he does that very well. With such a good use of marketing, he has managed to create a persona that has propelled him to fame.

Returning to the book, I would not have called it "Stock Market for Dummies," but rather "Day Trading," "Technical Analysis," or "Trading for Dummies," since although it does provide some basic notions about markets, its explanation is focused on "Technical Analysis" or "Trading." On the other hand, it is a type of analysis that is very visual, very easy to learn, but in my opinion, not very useful on its own when analyzing the markets. Although it is also true that it can be quite useful if complemented with other types of analysis, such as macroeconomic or "value."

If you are thinking of learning or starting in this world, I recommend starting with this book, which includes examples and enjoyable explanations that will make those beginnings much easier and may open up a lot of new possibilities for you. I have read many books about the stock market and financial analysis, in addition to my master's studies and beyond, and whenever a friend asks me, I always recommend starting with this book, as the teachings are very elementary and do not have a high technical level.

I do not give it 5 stars because it is not a "Stock Market" book as I mentioned, but I believe it is a book that anyone wanting to start in the markets or more specifically, in "Trading," should read. (Translated from Spanish)

Repetitve. A bit too simplistic and gives some questionable advice.
