About this audiobook
In this groundbreaking classic, investigative journalist Lynne McTaggart reveals a radical new paradigm—that the human mind and body are not separate from their environment but a packet of pulsating power constantly interacting with this vast energy sea, and that consciousness may be central in shaping our world. The Field is a highly readable scientific detective story presenting a stunning picture of an interconnected universe and a new scientific theory that makes sense of supernatural phenomena. Documented by distinguished sources, The Field is a book of hope and inspiration for today's world.

Enjoyed the interesting ideas put forth in this work. The book did a good job reviewing the background needed to support the suggestions made in the new physical laws. My only sticks were that sometimes I felt the transitions between topics were a bit mechanical and the book seemed to have an abrupt ending with any forecast for the future of this emerging science, I recommend this book to anyone with an open inquiring mind.1 person found this helpful

A good follow-up to What the Bleep Do We Know (the movie or the book). The world (universe) is a stranger place than we knew, but some of those very strange things start to make sense when you read this book.1 person found this helpful

Lynne McTaggart is a great investigative journalist that has taken the time and travel and effort to share her succinct chronological journey to seek out the Secrets of the Universe (Quantum Science) and how they relate to human systems - as well as quantum particles - something that was heretofore been a career killer (or worse) - similar to earlier discoveries that the Sun did not revolve around the earth - that are still prevalent even in this age of "Enlightenment".
Someone once said that you can meet all the most interesting and adventurous characters that have ever lived, and this book showcases those that put their professional careers and reputations on the line as they were brave enough to publish the results of their groundbreaking discoveries that made them the focus of their colleague's disdain.
The cycle for such groundbreaking work creates a cycle by the other very focused and traditional "scientists" that moves through several stages starting with derision (and often expulsion from their chosen field) caused by the "inertia" of the present body of knowledge, to further investigation by others that verify the results, to full acceptance of the paradigm shifting discovery.
"Einstein explained this transition, which is the structure of scientific revolutions, best. He said: “It was as if the ground had been pulled out from under one, with no firm foundation to be seen anywhere, upon which one could have built.”
"Many years ago Max Planck offered this insight: “A new scientific truth does not triumph by convincing its opponents and making them see the light, but rather because its opponents eventually die, and a new generation grows up that is familiar with it.”
Finally, this is an excellent recording that continues to reveal more information to the new listener as they become more familiar with the material.
The author's voice and delivery makes it easy to listen to - even if it's not the first (or third or the fifth..) time you've heard it.1 person found this helpful

There is a wealth of evidence supporting some very unorthodox events but I'm not at all sure that it is related to the quantum fluctuation field. Still, the idea that quantum theory is just classical theory with the SPF enfolded is intriguing.1 person found this helpful

Absolutely a breath taken account or scientific development and consciousness.
The integration of classical science and quantum size and consciousness seem to be the answer for an answerable questions that humanity has.
This book is a great exploration to this field and offer solutions and new approaches to expand our consciousness, integrating signs in all the fields
Highly recommended. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5

This book provides an overview of all the scientific research that has gone into showing a higher level of connection. It shows to prove we are connected, not only to man but also to matter, through a high frequence energy field: the zero point field. This awareness explains how our reality is unescapably our own creation. There is no other, we are all one. This is no longer the field of religion or spiritual exploration, but scientifically proven. Enjoy the new world.2 people found this helpful
