I enjoy Hell Boy as a literary character as he explores the very definiton of humanity. He is the embodies the change from the old to the new in the world as the cruelty of fate gives way to self determination. His hero's journey is well fleshed out & dress him save the world he was born to destroy.

Good story, new narrator. Which is like switching out the lead actors between movies. But after a while you adapt.
