Spring Castle Legacy Series

Life is complicated when you're dead, as the Youth of Glitter City have found out. After the tumultous events of 1996 on the Gulf Coast, the Afterliving Orphans find themselves having be catapulted from being afterthoughts to the founders of a brand new Court of Eden, not far from Denver, Colorado. With a war brewing between the new Court and the local Dämonvülf Pack, favors and friends are called in to keep everyone safe. However, the real danger to the Court and Community of Spring Castle is about to announce itself in a way that will leave everyone reeling. New loves abound, old friends hold fast, and strange alliances are made. History is unfolding in the Unseen World that will change everything that the Youth of the Court thought they understood about their place in the Unseen World.

The Afterliving Youth of Spring Castle, near Denver, Colorado, are eagerly approaching a long-sought milestone; the First Court in thier very own Sanctuary of Eden.   It has been a month since the tradgegy struck the Court, and things have never been more tense for the burgeoning new Court and Community. However, with the history edging towards the precipice of war, alliances, friendships, and loves will be put to the test.   Old pages from history flip to the front, to add their own solutions and complications. Old distrusts muddy the waters. Some traditions no longer serve their purposes. The neither the Rulers of the Night and the Halls of the Sun have ever before witnessed moments like these.   Will the new Court and Community endure these struggles and wounds together?  Or will they be torn apart by the weight of so much history upon them?

The autumn of Denver 1997 finds the Court and Community of Spring Castle enjoying their hard-won peace and prosperity of their collective struggles of the previous year. Friendships deepen, loves grow, and dreams begin to be realized. However, with little warning, all of that is thrown into jeopardy by machinations and vendettas far older than any of the Afterliving or their allies. Plunged into the middle of it all is young, idealistic and dedicated Sheriff's Deputy Emerret Moore, who leads a double life as the Deputy Reaper of Eden. As the tempo and gravity of events begin to swirl like an early fall blizzard, Emerret finds his friendship with Dämonvülf Healer Rosie Stennard deepening and growing into more. As the tensions and dangers rise, so do their attraction for each other. With the prospects of his own murder looming over his head, Emerret and Rosie are racing against time to unravel the mystery of what is going on, why, and how to stop it. Otherwise, everything they care for and cherish, including each other, will be lost like ashes in the wind. Will the Court and Community survive?  If they do, what will it cost them in blood and tears? Debts are owed and called in. Politics, in the Prime Reality, the Void and the Charmlands are causing suspicion and danger at every glance.  From battlefields, to Courts, drag strips and ski-hills, a splash is being made and the ripples are felt far and wide by some of the most powerful.
