The Gatekeeper's Fate Series

A local half-fae detective takes an interest in the case, and he seems to think Holly can help him solve it. The slight problem? Puck is a descendent of the notorious Robin Goodfellow, the master prankster from the Summer Court and sworn enemy of the Unseelie. If he finds out Holly's past, she can say goodbye to keeping her former vow to the Winter Court a secret. With the clues to the killer's identity pointing directly to Faerie itself, though, Holly finds herself in a dilemma. She knows better than to make bargains with the fae, but to solve the murders and stop the killer's rampage, she might have no choice in the matter…

When Holly Lynn stopped the Wild Hunt from unleashing a catastrophe, it came with some alarming consequences. The Morrigan, Queen of the Death Fae, is missing, and her absence has brought a new kind of trouble in Faerie.   To top it off, the necromancer guild is dealing with an influx of ghosts refusing to leave the mortal realm. Holly is certain her own bargain with the Morrigan is partly responsible, but if the Unseelie Queen learns of her involvement, she'll wish the Wild Hunt had finished her off. This also proves inconvenient to her tentative alliance with Puck the trickster fae, who threatens to knock down the well-tended barriers around the unpleasant parts of her history.   Being the Winter Gatekeeper wasn't easy, but it'll take everything Holly has learned to solve the deadly dilemma before the wrath of the Unseelie falls upon her… and the rest of the mortal realm.

The gods are inexorably tied up with the lies that bound the former Gatekeepers, and her allies' only hope of success lies in secrets that Holly thought was buried along with their ancestor, Thomas Lynn.   Holly and her cousins race against the clock to untangle the web of their family history in the hopes of bringing down their deadly foe. As war with the gods brews among faeries and humans alike, Holly finds herself pushed to make an impossible choice.   With the Sidhe and their gods alike, all debts must be repaid sooner or later, and Holly may be the one to pay the price…
