About this series
After years as an ancient weapons authenticator, Avery Beaton suddenly finds herself in demand—all because of her new power to tell a genuine artifact from a fake.
Duncan Kerr is a Hunter, a part-Fae/part-human, who helps protect the modern world from the parallel universe where the Sidhe live. His family has been searching for an ancient knife for centuries. A weapon that in the Sidhe Realm can cut through anything—including rock. It's priority one they recover it, and they're closing in on its location. Big problem. To everyone except Avery, it looks like any other dagger. It's imperative they find it and return it to the Mother Guardians, the most powerful of Sidhe women from the Realm. They will assure it never gets into the wrong hands.
Avery is Duncan's only hope of authenticating the dagger. If Duncan can: one, locate the dagger; two, get her to agree to help; and three, keep her safe and out of the hands of the Dark Fae or Dubh Sidhe.
However, Duncan and Avery got off on the wrong foot. Then there is the powerful Dubh Sidhe king who wants to force Avery to find the dagger, and other items, for him. One who wants Duncan out of the picture.

Big surprise, I'm a romantic. I love stories about knights and Highlanders. I love strong Alpha males, but I want them to have equally strong women for their partners. The mystery surrounding King Arthur has always been a favorite subject and it led me to wonder what would have happened if there was more to the story. What if the sword, and other swords, were more important? What if he had sons who survived? These questions and more led to the birth of my Sons of Pendragon series. I've also been fascinated by tales of the Fae from Ireland and Scotland. How would they interact with humans? What if they were forced into an alternate dimension and some of them were angry about it? The old, familiar, but still relevant trope of Good vs. Evil. This led to the birth of my companion series, The Sidhe Hunters. I also love mysteries! Reading and writing them. The first "book" I ever wrote was a mystery. Though at age eight, the "book" was only around twelve pages long. Finally, the Low Country of South Carolina, combined with the ghost stories my father used to tell me, led to a paranormal cozy mystery with some quirky characters, a bit of romance, and a touch of spooky. On a more personal note, I love animals. I currently have three very spoiled rescue dogs. I also love photography. You'll often see my photographs on my social media pages. I love history, archaeology, genealogy, and a lot of other -gys.
