It was a delicate, silver envelope, far too perfect to have been left there by chance.

He knelt down, intrigued. The envelope glimmered in the sunlight, as though it contained some sort of secret. His fingers trembled slightly as he picked it up and held it carefully in his hands. The moment his fingers touched it, he felt a warm, almost magical sensation, as if the envelope was alive with energy. There was no name, no address—only the words For a Heart Open to Adventure.

Toby glanced around, half expecting someone to appear and claim it, but the street was empty. He turned the envelope over, and on the back was a small, golden seal—an intricate design of a heart, surrounded by swirling patterns that seemed to change as he looked at them. It almost felt as though the seal was waiting to be opened.

I found it in the park, Toby explained, holding the letter out to her. It’s an invitation to an adventure! I don’t know what it means, but it’s for people who believe in magic, in wonder. We’re supposed to bring our hearts and share them with others.

Sarah took the letter from Toby’s hands, her fingers brushing against the shimmering paper. She read it aloud, just as Toby had done, and as she spoke the words, a strange sense of calm and excitement settled over them both. It was as if the very air around them had shifted, charged with possibility.

This is real, Sarah said softly, looking up at Toby. I can feel it. We’re meant to go on this adventure together.

Toby smiled. He had known she would understand. The two of them had always believed in the impossible, and this invitation seemed to promise just that.
