Everybody Pays

Sunset Puglisi has agreed to trade the journals he kept when he worked as a pimp and hitman for the Marcello crime family for his freedom. The diaries contain details about crimes his fellow hoodlums committed, the police and politicians who paid for sex with his 'tenants,' and perhaps information on the assassination of a President. Detective Cadillac Holland's father is likely to be mentioned, along with the Chief of Detectives he reports to and the local head of the FBI. Whoever controls the journals will control organized crime in New Orleans and ruin the lives of a great many people who thought their pasts would never catch up to them. Detective Holland only wants to avoid the potential feud between the various factions who have come to town to stake their claim, but he will need to handle a lot more than that to keep the peace.
