Strategies and tips for success
Foreword
Over the course of my career in HR, I have had the privilege of working in numerous roles that have shaped not only my professional skills, but also my personal view of work and its importance in people's lives. From recruiting new talent to supporting career development, I have experienced the many aspects of HR work. I am particularly proud of the moments when I have been able to help individuals achieve their career goals or stand by them during difficult times. These experiences have solidified my belief that working in HR is more than just a job; it is a passion to support people in their professional development and see them realize their dreams. My commitment to career development is reflected in every step of my own career, with the highlights and successes along the way being not only mine, but also the successes of those I have been able to help.
The turning point in my professional career was the loss of my job, an event that initially came as a blow. This experience forced me to confront the reality of the job market and the specific challenges faced by experienced workers. The emotional impact of this loss was profound, but led to a period of intense self-reflection. I began to question the meaning of work in my life and the role I wanted to play in the world of work.
This phase of reflection brought important insights. I realized that losing my job was not the end, but a beginning. I recognized the challenges that experienced workers face when looking for a job, especially the difficulties of communicating one's expertise and experience in an ever-changing job market. These realizations led to the decision to start my own business - a move that required not only courage, but also a clear vision of what I wanted to achieve.
The motivation behind my decision to become a consultant and coach stemmed from my deep desire to help others achieve their professional goals. The first steps into self-employment were characterized by uncertainties and challenges. I had to learn how to market my services, build a client base and establish myself as an expert in my field. Networking and continuous training played a crucial role in this.
The strategies and approaches I developed to build my business were based on the principles of authenticity, lifelong learning and the importance of relationships. I learned that building a solid network and continually developing my skills were not only critical to business success, but also helped to deepen my passion for working in HR.
By advising clients and having a positive impact on their career paths, I gained valuable experience that confirmed to me that I had taken the right path. These successes and the satisfaction that resulted from my career realignment have encouraged me to share my insights and strategies with others facing similar career challenges.
In this part of the foreword, I have described the path that led me from a profound career change to a fulfilling career as a consultant and coach. The decision to become self-employed and build a new career path has been characterized by learning experiences that can be of value to anyone seeking a career change or in the process of a job search.
The decision to start my own business as a consultant and coach marked the beginning of a new chapter in my life. The motivation for this step stemmed from a deep desire to use my experience and knowledge to help others in their professional development. However, the first steps into self-employment were not without challenges. I had to learn how to effectively build a business, attract
