About this ebook

The Church of God is more then Organizations. The Church is the Reflection of Christ in this world. Christ was separate, Powerful and distinguishable. The True Church must be the Same. This cannot be done by compromising, nor by guilt, fear and traditions of man. This can only be done by the power of his spirit.

Author

Sam Tiangha

“There is a difference between interpreting Scripture and understanding the Word of God. Anyone can read, interpret Scripture, and make a doctrine of what they read. Most religious organizations and theologians have done this and have established their core beliefs by laws and standards. Understanding the Word of God is somewhat more involved and therefore takes far more than the merits of human understanding, education, and science to solve.” Sam Tiangha is a minister of the Gospel and has focused in revelatory inspiration rather then knowledge and wisdom routed in this present world. He is a loving father and husband. He and his family reside in Chestermere Alberta Canada.

    Preface

The contents of this book are written with the pureness of conviction, and they may not be for everyone. The message shared is focused on the apostolic Christian church, which I believe to be the original Christian church. This book will take the reader on a small journey to explore when this church started; how it started; where it is today; its use, misuse, or lack of use; the true church leadership; and the obstacles and opposition trying to prevent or slow down the church from achieving perfection before the coming of the Lord.

I chose to use the King James Version of the Bible, as I feel it is the purest translation of the Word. The church is made up of many individuals. Therefore, I hope and pray that this book reaches the hearts of individuals all over the world in order to gain a collective mind-set in Christ.

Each chapter covers a different topic of importance and relevance, all of which contribute to the overall theme or focus of this book. Some topics may be repeated, but they do so in conjunction with the discussion at hand. All subject matter is based on personal experience and on biblical and historical references that convey biblical truths. Throughout the book I use the terms Holy Ghost, Holy Spirit, and Spirit of God interchangeably as having the same meaning. I also use church, body of Christ, and saints of the Most High interchangeably as well.

I personally believe that there is one truth and that it has many sides and angles, much like a golden nugget. Each part of the nugget is exposed through different perspectives and views based on revelations that are not contrary to the Word of God, thus revealing different areas of the nugget---or truth, if you will. This book shares certain views of one whole, singular truth and is not intended to show forth my knowledge on certain topics of discussion. I pray that whoever reads this does not take it as such.

I invite all who read this book to read with an open and humble mind and attitude, as some topics mentioned may be a bit hard to swallow or accept. As the author, I am not looking to offend; I only stress the importance of the overall message. Read and enjoy.

    Chapter 1

    Interpretation of Salvation

And Jesus answered and said unto her, whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

    ---John 4:13--14

S ince the birth of the first church in Acts 2, the interpretation of salvation has been altered and corrupted and, in many cases, made misleading. Many Christians agree that salvation has to do with the saving of one's soul from eternal damnation, which has come through the inherited sin of Adam.

Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law. Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression who is the figure of him that was to come (Romans 5:12--14).

In other words, sin (or the nature of it) was inherited by all individuals. Let's be clear: as humans we are not sin itself. Rather, we are born with the sinner's nature, which was embedded in our natural bodies with the fall of man. Adam and Eve walked as immortals in heavenly bodies, and they could stand in the very presence of God without being destroyed. As we all know the story, Eve was deceived, and Adam outright disobeyed God. Once they'd eaten the fruit, their heavenly bodies put on earthy bodies, and their uncorrupted beings were introduced to corruption and death. This, of course, is the opposite of 1 Corinthians 15:35--58, which describes the life that we as Christians must obtain.

But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come? Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die: And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain: But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body. All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds. There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory. So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption: It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power: It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is the Lord from heaven. As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly. And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly. Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. (1 Corinthians 15:35--58)

Once this happened, the law of death came, and forgiveness and remission were brought by the grace of God to save. Because Adam and Eve sinned, they were supposed to be judged by God. Instead, a substitute was brought in place for them. When the Lord saw their sin, he killed an innocent animal, shedding its blood, and the animal's fur was used to cover the nakedness of Adam and Eve. Unto Adam also and to his wife, did the Lord make coats of skins, and he clothed them (Genesis 3:21).

Even though God forgave them, they still had to reap what they had sown. Thus, they were driven out of the garden and were to live as mortals.

Humanity's original purpose was to walk in a perfect relationship with God. This is in our very being and is one of the main differences between humans and animals. Humans must worship and believe in something. Whether it's a belief in God, aliens, nature, or even our own selves, humans must believe in and worship something. This purpose is what has given way to religion or some type of belief system.

Humans have been trying to get back to the garden. Through this thirst and hunger, religion was born. In the garden, God and humans were in unison without religion.

Sin has infected humankind and cannot be in the same place as Holy God. Therefore, we must obtain salvation from our sins in order to walk again with God. This is the reason the wants of humans are never satisfied. We are always looking for something to fill the void that was created by Adam. This void causes us to always thirst and hunger for more.

The opening Scripture in John 4:13--14 shows a woman in an unpleasant life situation. Many of us can see only the surface of her problem. She'd had five husbands, and the man she was currently with was not her husband. Jesus saw the root of the problem. The problem was
