I designed this book to get you an easy A on a high school, college, or graduate-level history paper, and to help you write it as fast as possible. I do this by breaking down the paper-writing process into a few quick, simple steps and by giving you multiple templates for solid history essays. Use this book to finish a several-page essay within as little as 1 hour.
At this point, it doesn’t matter if you’ve left the assignment until the day before it’s due, or even a couple hours before it’s due. It doesn’t matter if you’ve missed a bunch of classes. It doesn’t matter if you’re behind on the readings.
Sometimes, life happens—you’ve been sick, you’re working a job while going to school, you’re taking care of a child, or you’re dealing with anxiety, and let’s say your instructor won’t give you an extension on the due date.
I don’t mean to encourage you to wait until the last minute to begin writing your paper. If you can start on your history paper days in advance and put lots of time and effort into it, do so! That’s always the best way to complete an assignment. This book, however, is for the person who—for whatever reason—has run out of time, can’t get an extension, and needs to turn in something and get the best possible grade.
Maybe you need a good grade on this assignment because your scholarship funding depends on you maintaining a certain GPA, or maybe getting an A on this paper will make the difference between passing or failing this course.
Don’t stress. It’s going to be OK. You can write this paper and you can get an A.
The hardest part of writing a history essay is just getting started. We call it the tyranny of the blank page.
This book allows you to bypass that awful stage by giving you ways to organize your paper and jumpstart your writing so you can conquer that blank page.
If you’re reading this book, then time is of the essence for you. I’m going to get to the point as quickly as possible. But I need you to actually read through the 6 steps of this book before you look at the templates, because writing an A-level essay is a cumulative process. First, you have to have the right essay organization. Then, you
