Quantum Experiences

At first, I write about my experiences in general terms and then in more detail. I share a particularly essential 'quantum experience' with my aunty that passed away about fifteen years ago which aided me to develop morally, academically, psychologically and transpersonally. Some more challenging experiences are part of my spiritual journey. How I managed and integrated such experiences within the 'shared reality' is explained. Towards the middle of the book I discuss understandings of the medical model and how this viewpoint often debilitates a person rather than helping an individual with 'quantum experiences', also known as 'spiritual emergencies' or 'spiritual crises. I critically discuss unhelpful attitudes to such experiences and contribute by adding ideas of how to improve and add to the medical model rather than rejecting, or devaluing it completely. I do this partly by suggesting to introduction of spirituality into the N.H.S. (National Health Services). Furthermore, I critically introduce how calibre psychiatrists could aid and empower individuals with 'quantum experiences' rather than pathologise or stigmatise. The end of my book illustrates how my unique and valuable experiences enabled me to develop, further grow both professionally and spiritually in greater detail, by embracing transpersonal psychology into my work. Towards the end of the book I also include important contributions of other mental health professionals, by embracing the transpersonal model. I discuss how their work has aided our understanding in greater depth. The book finishes by introducing how philosophical and spiritual ruminations can empower and make a difference with significant and positive change for individuals with 'Quantum experiences'. Rather than debilitate him/her with fear and unnecessary interventions. Finally, I touch upon reality by opening up a discussion of what is real i.e. who decides about reality?

I am a Chartered Counselling Psychologist working for the NHS and also have my own private practice. I embrace the transpersonal model of psychology and have personal experiences of spirituality and also overwhelming, difficult and fearful experiences that often come with Quantum Experiences. My book illustrates personal spiritual experiences that are powerful, enriching and challenging. I write about these experiences in greater detail in order to aid the reader comprehend and taste my direct experiences in order to understand my personal and professional approach to life itself. I attempt to explain how my life is understood within transpersonal psychology. In doing so, I elaborate upon understandings of Quantum Experiences and discuss personal meanings of such occurrences both psychologically and spiritually.

INTRODUCTION

The quantum world has been explored and studied for some time and we know that it is vast and incomprehensible in many ways. We have revised its never ending mysticism, endeavor and reality. Well known scientists have researched ‘the quantum’ world through diverse tools and approaches. We have well known documentaries which explain the topic beautifully despite its complexities. Some professionals also have personal experience of experiencing the ‘quantum world’. I am an example of this. Being a professional Chartered Counselling Psychologist I too have had ‘quantum experiences’ that have been mystical and overwhelming to say the least. ‘My ‘quantum experiences’ are non-ordinary states of consciousness and a non-shared reality. The book title ‘quantum experiences’ was chosen within very profound meditation and I trust it resonates very well with my truth. This meditative state involved auditory clairvoyance, clairsentience, clairaudience, powerful feelings of a strong presence of the higher intelligence that I often refer to as God.

The sensation of God was so profound as I meditated, so powerful in presence and support that I decided not to ignore the message but to follow the advice. I could hear the voice of the higher intelligence clearly as a form of clairaudience. The experience was clear and direct. No confusing messages or indirect communication but pure love and creativity. The message was mindful and especially formulated for me. I felt the higher intelligence in a form of clairsentience. The clairsentience was pure and came in the form of feelings of ecstasy. It was sensitive and warm. Again delivering a message that was hard to ignore. The message was full in presence, care, informative and personal. Moreover, I had the presence of spirits coming to my aid in the form of clairvoyance. I saw them in my minds eye and third eye while meditating. There were spirits from the light and their presence and good will was ever so powerful and awe-inspiring.
