About this ebook
Silent Hood is a political dystopian novella written by Michael Eaborn. Violence has fast spun out of control, with Donald J. Trump as newly elected President of the United States. Laws and the Constitution are quickly turned on their heads, with the new reality of a totalitarian government. Standing firm against the new regime, Michael Gates does all he can to enforce justice on those who take pride in hurting, torturing or killing others. With Michael’s grandparents having been shot while in their beds when Michael was a child, he vows to continue the battle between good and evil. President Trump enacts Martial Law, putting a bounty on Michael’s head, while declaring all non-military personnel to be shot, should they be on the streets after the strict 9.00 pm curfew. Unaware of the new laws, Michael is arrested and presented to his torturer and captor, General Steve Bannon, only to discover that the General has his own special plans for the young vigilante.

Silent Hood
Chapter 1
WE WILL RISE UP AND give Power back to you
, Donald Trump said as he stood in front of five thousand people.
The crowd roared with applause. It was a rainy day in Washington D.C. Trump had just been sworn in as the Forty-fifth President of the United States. As he was making his speech, his body guards were arresting a protestor. Trump stopped talking and looked at him.
We have this guy over there
, he began while pointing, who thinks he can just protest his way up to me. Knock the crap out of him!
A few of his supporters gathered around him. One punched the guy. That led to a roar of cheering from the crowd. Another supporter hit the guy. I was in the back taking pictures of it. I saw it and left the area. The crowd continued cheering.
I tell 'ya folks. These people are bad. A person like me would be furious at them
, Trump commented as pumped his fist in the air.
I ran into the bathroom of a nearby souvenir shop and changed into my Vigilante suit: Black hoodie, Bullet Proof Vest, Black Face Mask, and A retractable metal staff. I also had a taser. I ran back to the crowd. I shoved through his supporters and ran towards the Protestor. The guys beating on him stepped back.
Back the fuck away from him!
, I belted.
Get him!
, yelled Trump as the Secret Service rushed him to safety.
I was surrounded by thousands of supporters. The five around me pulled out pocket knives.
Lets dance!
, I said as I punched one supporter.
He fell down. The others lunged at me. I kicked another one down. Police officers came in with their guns drawn. They had me surrounded.
Get on the ground!
, one yelled.
Listen to him you sonofabitch!
, said another cop.
I knew I couldn't risk getting shot. I put my hands up and got on my knees. An officer began putting handcuffs on me. The crowd was chanting.
USA! USA!
Another cop removed my hood. As he began taking off my mask, I swept kicked him to the ground. The other cops pulled out tasers. They shot them. With catlike reflexes, I managed to dodge them. They hit some supporters. I then fled the scene. I ran away from the crowd and into a dark alley. There were ambulances. Speeding by. I took off my costume and changed back into my street clothes. As I stepped out the alley, my phone began ringing.
Gates, get your ass over to the inauguration!!
, Joan Roe, my boss, yelled.
I was just there. I-.
My phone cutoff. Five Military jeeps drove by me. A man got on a PA.
To the citizens of the District of Columbia, we are putting this City under Martial Law. Report to your homes immediately. If you resist, we will use force!
Citizens ran into their apartments and locked their doors. I was the only one left.
Did you hear what I just said?
, asked the man.
All I heard was an asshole talk about killing a bunch of innocent people
, I laughed.
I am warning you!
, he said.
Freedom of the press!
, I yelled.
The Media is a lie. Execute him!
, he yelled.
I bolted down the street. Bullets flew by me. I made a sharp turn left as they followed me. I opened the camera on my phone and put the flash on. I took three pictures. They covered their eyes as the flash hit them. As they were distracted, I hit two bricks. A secret door opened and I ran inside. I slid down a slide and landed in an underground bunker.
This is how the world is now...
