Schipper is a lifelong author from Southwest Michigan, though you can just refer to him as “that weird book guy” if you'd like. He spends most of his time writing, reading, and editing books. He does all this in the hopes of being a professional author. Until then, however, he is forced to make a livelihood through his day job, which is usually little more than grunt work. At the same time, he is pursuing a Master's Degree in Fine Arts (MFA), which is basically a college degree that lets you get credit for things like writing books. Consequently, he is rather busy, and has little time (and money) for his other hobbies: video games, Japanese cartoons, and the collection of deadly weapons. The latter includes swords, daggers, scythes, and potentially many more. He is always up for a good sword fight.view less
