Really solid middle grade spooky mystery. I really like how the relationship between Amy and Louann changes for the better over the course of the book. The family dynamics and adult characters are flawed in realistic ways, and while their problems aren't fully solved by the end, it's clear that things are moving in a positive direction.

The reading is also very well done. The reader doesn't go overboard on the voices, but it's always clear who is speaking.
