He has been a finalist for both the Pulitzer Prize and the National Book Award and was honored by the American Academy of Arts and Letters. Buechner has long been one of my favorite authors. This is a compilation of sermons and other short pieces from throughout his career and is a very good way to get a glimpse of his excellent rhetorical skills.

A great place to start if you're new to Buechner. Each recorded sermon is it's own book. Like all his writing, it's brilliant.
