I’ve been writing for a few years now, and I write what I like to read. I know some authors are into very specific niches, and I suppose I am too–threesomes, foursomes, polyamory, group sex, gangbangs, bondage, impregnation, and a few other kinks thrown in for fun. I also like messy sex. The messier the better. As I like to say, “If you don’t make a mess having sex, you probably did it wrong.”To be blunt, I write stories with spunk! I want my stories to arouse and excite you; to thrill and seduce you; and perhaps to inspire you and your partner(s) to explore a few things on your own!

    About the Author

    Chapter 1 – Kadie’s Problem

My wife, Michelle, and her best friend Kadence talked about everything together. And I mean everything. They weren’t shy about it either.

This makes nearly a year and a half now, Kadence was saying. I stopped in the hall, just short of rounding the corner to the living room. I kept silent where I was, eavesdropping. "I know it can take a few years for some couples, but I’m getting worried. And we’ve been trying really hard, believe me."

What about your test results? my wife asked. Were they abnormal?

No, Kadence replied. I’m as fertile as can be.

I held my breath. So that was what they were talking about...

What about Doug? Is he still refusing to get a fertility test? Michelle asked, as though this was nothing new to her.

Kadence gave a long, exasperated sigh. I’ve been nagging him about it for months. But he’s a guy, you know? Maybe he thinks it would make him less of a man if he had a fertility problem.

    Good-fucking-grief, Michelle declared.

They went on talking about something else, and I quietly snuck back to my man-cave of an office.

Kadence’s husband, Doug, was what they call a man’s man. We didn’t have a lot in common, either. He watched football, but I didn’t like any sports. I played video games and watched comic book movies, but he thought that was just for kids. That sort of thing. We were still friends, of course, and Michelle and I got together with Doug and Kadence a few times a month—grilling out in one of our backyards or having dinner as a kind of double-date.

We were all young professionals in our mid-twenties, and Michelle and I hadn’t even given the first thought to having kids. Not yet, anyway. Not beyond saying ‘later,’ and changing the subject.

But for Kadence, having kids was apparently foremost on her mind.

A few months later, I overheard Kadence and my wife talking again.

"So he did get a test?" Michelle asked.

Well... Kadence hesitated to answer. He says he took off from work to visit a urologist a few weeks ago, and that the test came back showing he was fine.

There was a short pause. Then my wife said, You sound pretty skeptical, Kadie.

Kadence sighed. Since we’re married, we can access each other’s medical records online. I’m not sure he knows that. Anyway, I went online to find the results myself, and sure enough, he did go in for the test. But when I looked up the results, it showed both low motility and low sperm count.

What? Michelle asked. "He lied about the results?"

It’s not that bad, Kadence protested. It’s still possible to conceive, just harder.

What were the result numbers? my wife asked.

Sperm count was 5 million, I think, and motility 1, Kadence replied.

There was another pause, and I think Michelle was looking up something on the Internet.

Kadie... Michelle said, hesitantly. "Normal sperm count is 20 to 40 million, and motility is on a scale of 0 to 4, with 0 being no movement and 1 being very low. Those are really bad numbers."

I know... But what more can I do?

Silence followed, and I was about to sneak back to my office when Michelle spoke.

A fertility issue doesn’t make him any less of a man, she said. And you need to tell him there are other ways to conceive, like IUI and IVF.

"I did suggest we try IUI, just to see, Kadie said. And it’s not as expensive as IVF."

    Well, what did he say?

Kadence sighed again. "He wants to have the baby naturally or not at all."

    Fuck him! Michelle exclaimed.

It’s not that bad, Kadence pleaded. Low motility and low sperm count are not deal breakers. It’s just harder. We’re going to keep trying.

I gently closed my office door and breathed out. It had nothing to do with
