So beschreibt er in "Onkelchens Traum" die Verwicklungen einer Kleinstadt, die intriganten Machenschaften Einzelner und die Verführung eines reichen senilen Mannes. In "Der kleine Held" begibt sich der Autor stattdessen in den Kopf eines 11-jährigen Jungen, der versucht seine erste Liebe durch Heldenmut zu beeindrucken und dabei mehr als einmal zum Gespött der gehobenen Gesellschaft wird.-
