His first published novel was The Legacy, which was hailed as “…one of the best novels to come out of the South in the ‘70s” by the Detroit Free Press. Bern’s other published books range from books on business management and psychology to two recently published explorations of the best fishing spots in New York and New Jersey. He received bachelors and masters degrees in Journalism from the University of South Carolina and for many years was CEO of a management consulting firm headquartered in New York and New Jersey. He resides in North Brunswick, NJ and Naples, FL. with his wife Elaine.view less
