When he was 9 years old, their parents moved south to Aguadilla. At the age of 20, the first Friday of April 1947, (Holy Friday) he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. On Sunday Resurrection Day, he went with his father to church, to confess publicly that Jesus was now his Savior.
October 15, 1948, he immigrated with his parents to the city of New York, where he studied for three year in the Bible Institute of Eastern Spanish Council, of the Assemblies of God. After he graduated with honors, and by direct call from our Lord Jesus Christ, he started developing his ministry of evangelist among some of the most outstanding and eloquent men of God of his days.
During 1950 thru 1980 decades, he preached in deliverance and evangelistic campaigns in the United States: North, South, East and West. He also visited several nations of Central and South America and Greater Antilles: Puerto Rico, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Honduras, Panama, Venezuela, Peru, Ecuador and Chile, preaching in evangelistic and deliverance crusades in open air, plazas, auditoriums, tents, and baseball or soccer stadiums. Great numbers of souls were saved, and hundreds of sick people received healing for their bodies.
His radio program “On Wings of Faith” reached his maximum popularity in New York and Rio Grande Valley in Texas, and for more than 20 years he brings a message that changed the wave of theological thinking and conscience of many believers, leaving profound prints in the hearts of Hispanic people. “You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; therefore God, Your God, has anointed you.”
