Van Loon has a resume as rich as her works. As a veteran stage, film and commercial performer, voiceover talent, choreographer and triple threat, she’s delighted audiences and clients for over 30 years. She’s done it all – from dancing and singing her heart out in Broadway National Tours to teaching criminal justice in high school. Along the way she’s also owned four dance academies, developed an event company, worked in corporate America as a top-notch manager, designed a board game, gotten a couple of college degrees and raised three kids. Whether she’s in front of a microphone, directing 200 dancers, coming up with the “hook” for a TV or radio show or writing compelling works, Barb’s creativity is one of a kind.Under the name Barbara Early, Barb’s previous works include: Finding the Best Dance Instruction: Look Before You Leap (Betterway Publications/Writer’s Digest), editor of Bradley’s Communications Publicity Guide; Entertainment writer for Today and Entertainment Correspondent for the Sun Newspapers. Her articles have been published in magazines, including Hopscotch, Dance Teacher Now and Chicago Parent. This is Barb’s first work of fiction.view less
